IMG_0215Amiee Maxwell (the Dirtbag Writer) is a freelance writer based out of Salt Lake City who spends as much time as possible living out of her Subaru in the Utah and Nevada desert. After finishing college in the Midwestern US and returning from a typical post-college European backpacking adventure, Amiee decided she hadn’t seen enough of the US. Kerouac-styled road trip ensued and she discovered the West becoming completely captivated by Utah – the quirky politics, the endless outdoor recreation opportunities, and the unbelievably shocking beauty of the red rock desert.
